The best Christian gifts are ones people actually use every day: something they wear, carry or see often, that quietly reminds them of their faith. Here is a guide to choosing one for the Orthodox or Catholic people in your life, with the key UK dates to plan around.
Gifts by budget
- Under £30: the Byzantine Saints trucker cap or an icon T-shirt, such as St Joseph or St Michael the Archangel.
- £30–£40: a Theotokos icon phone case (MagSafe, iPhone 14 to 18 Pro Max) or the Samsung Galaxy version. A phone case is a gift they will hold every day.
- £40–£60: a heavyweight icon hoodie or sweatshirt, such as St Peter and the Keys of Heaven or the Sacred Heart.
Gifts by occasion
- Christmas. Most Catholic, Anglican and many Orthodox churches (including the Greek and Romanian Orthodox) celebrate on 25 December. Russian, Serbian, Ukrainian and other churches on the Julian calendar celebrate on 7 January, which gives you a second gifting window.
- Easter. In 2027, Western Easter falls on 28 March and Orthodox Easter on 2 May.
- Name days. In Greek, Romanian, Polish and many other traditions, the feast of the saint you are named after is celebrated like a second birthday. A gift featuring that saint is especially personal.
- Baptism, Chrismation and confirmation. A first piece of icon clothing or a phone case makes a gift to keep, especially for teenagers and adults.
- First Holy Communion. Most UK First Communions take place in May and June, a busy season for Catholic families, including many Polish families.
- Godparents and sponsors. A thank-you gift for the people who stood with you or your child.
How to choose
- Pick a saint with meaning: their patron saint, the saint of their church, or a favourite icon such as the Theotokos.
- Phone cases need the exact model. Check which phone they have before ordering. If you are unsure, clothing is safer.

Everything is printed to order. Most orders are printed and dispatched within 2–5 working days, and most UK orders arrive within 5–10 working days of ordering. We will post our last recommended order dates for Christmas in late November.
